Two Days and More Ways to Create a Great Event
For the third year in a row, Advanced helped Villanova University stage an impressive and memorable St. Thomas of Villanova Day event—and something new was folded into this event: a post-inauguration dinner for the new President later in the evening.
The first event took place in The Pavilion, the school’s athletic venue, which Advanced transformed into a lively environment by installing a comprehensive lighting system that provided brilliant stage, décor, and ambient room lighting to showcase the presenters, the formal procession, and attendees. A 15' x 20' video screen and a three-camera live switch brought the event dramatically closer to all those who attended.
For the new President’s dinner celebration, which was held outdoors on Mendel Field, Advanced designed and operated full stage lighting and a concert-quality, arena-sized sound system. Advanced technicians worked closely with Villanova’s event team to handle stage management and talent coordination as well. The result: two smooth-running, dynamic events that made everyone proud.
