Gotta Know Your “Gobo” from Your “Bally-hoo”
Gobo: An acronym that stands for “GOes Before Optics.”
Bally-hoo: The act of sweeping a spotlight in wide swinging motions over the crowd.

For instance, our lighting engineers utilize a multitude of non-moving led fixtures to match corporate, team or individual colors, but other situations might call for moving lights. Automated light fixtures can be used to create effects such as “bally-hoo”, increasing excitement by moving patterns throughout the venue, making your audience a part of the action (think awards show).
We also use intelligent moving lights to project static and moving custom patterns, known as a “gobo” (think the Batman signal) which is basically a template that light shines through to project an image onto a surface.
