DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Project Manager role is key within the Projects team, serving as both the external face and internal hub for project delivery by Advanced Staging Productions. This role requires close collaboration with clients and internal teams to support planning and execution, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
This position requires flexibility to meet the demands of live event production, including regular travel, early mornings, evenings, and weekend work based on event schedules. When onsite, the Associate Project Manager supports live event execution alongside Project Managers and technical teams. When not on show site, candidates are expected to work from the office, contributing to pre-production planning, coordination, and overall project support.
Candidates must be local to the Philadelphia area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Managers to help ensure projects are managed and executed in a timely, cost-efficient and professional manner.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to learn Advanced Staging Productions standards and operations.
- Improve AV knowledge
- The Associate Project Manager is expected to work cooperatively to provide seamless client service.
- Assist the Project management team with support from internal departments, on strategic planning for the execution of projects, timeframes, and budgets.
- Coordinate activities with internal teams and vendors to guarantee project milestones are met and work is being managed, progressed safely, and according to plan.
- Visit sites and check progress on projects as and when required.
- Manage small projects from start to finish.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a project management role
- Experience of preparing and tracking budgets of events
- Understanding of technical project requirements

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels
- Motivated with a good work ethic and time management
- Flexibility to travel and attend meetings out of normal work hours
