Lighting Technician

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Advanced Staging Productions is seeking Lighting Technicians with all levels of experience. We are a live events technology and management company outside of Philadelphia, PA. We provide A/V solutions to live events and corporate presentations.
We are looking for people interested in working behind the scenes to connect and focus lighting systems, program that one look that becomes iconic with the show, and to help bring the clients’ ideas to life using light.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Position Expectations
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the lighting department
- Work on the jobsite as Lighting Director (L1), Master Electrician (L2), Lighting Tech (L3). Staging Tech, and/or Lead Tech
- Assist with check-in and check-out in the warehouse
- Help maintain lighting department systems and gear
- Delivery, set-up, operation, and striking of lighting gear and/or AV equipment
- Maintenance of lighting equipment and troubleshooting
- Perform other job-related duties as requested

What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Preferably with a Theatre or Video Production Degree with a Lighting Concentration
- Follow all department and company policies
- Able to lift 50lbs when needed
- Able to work with others
- Valid Driver’s License
- Available to work nights and weekends as needed
- Available to travel
- Tech savvy and willingness to learn
